ACT (Artery Check Technology) analysis the pulse and SpO2 signals and determines the actually prevailing stiffness of the artery (Artery Condition). ACT further comprehensively classifies the arterial condition into 6 levels and presents the result by an intuitive graphical visualisation. Rossmax Finger Pulse Oximeter SB200

The Rossmax finger pulse oximeter SB200 is the only non-invasive fingertip device that measures arterial stiffening, arteriosclerosis, vascular quality, SpO2 (saturation) and heart rate. The ACT index measurement processes SpO2 signals and allows an estimate of the elasticity of the vessel walls on the basis of the derived waveform. The arterial conditio is then classified into six different levels, which are shown below.

Level 1: Arteries and blood circulation are in excellent condition

Level 2: Arteries and blood circulation are in good condition

Level 3: Arteries and blood circulation are in reasonable condition

Level 4: Arteries and blood circulation are in a mediocre condition

Level 5: Arteries and blood circulation are in moderate condition

Level 6: Arteries and blood circulation are in poor condition

The ACT index function measures arteriosclerosis status in the context of the SpO2 measurement quickly and easily. In addition, ACT can also be used to determine the risk of peripheral circulatory disorder and cardiovascular disease.
